Cypreses Farm – Sarmiento

Cypreses Farm – Sarmiento

🌾 Flavors, tradition, and nature in the productive heart of Patagonia

A few minutes from Sarmiento, among poplar trees, irrigation canals, and crops that defy the Patagonian climate, lies the “Los Cypreses” Farm a family-run establishment that opens its gates to share an unforgettable day in the countryside.

Here, time moves differently: between mate and homemade bread, proudly grown vegetable gardens, farm animals, and knowledge passed down from generation to generation. Ideal for those seeking a genuine and enriching break, in contact with the authentic rural life of southern Argentina.

👩‍🌾 What does the experience include?

  • Guided tour of the farm: From the greenhouse to the pens, the hosts explain how they produce sustainably in a semi-arid environment. Includes optional participation in daily tasks (harvesting, feeding animals, etc.).

  • Rural workshops and knowledge: Depending on the time of year, activities such as candy making, baking, organic gardening, or an introduction to beekeeping are offered.

  • Homemade lunch with a Patagonian identity: Food prepared in a clay oven or wood-fired stove, using farm produce. May include lamb, empanadas, fresh salads, and regional desserts. Vegetarian option available with advance reservation.

  • Nap in the sun or walk along the canals: Free time to relax under the trees, explore the orchard area, or simply let yourself be carried away by the calm surroundings.

  • Afternoon games and after-dinner conversation: Activities for adults and children: rural games, tejo, bocce, and, of course, long conversations over coffee or mate.
